My new motto for losing weight is slow and steady. Although, I already HATE my motto. I agree with the steady, but the slow is KILLING me.
I lost 0.6 today. Go on, say outloud very sarcastically with me, "woo hoo". Considering I've been watching what I eat, even eating out and getting healthier options, I still can't knock a pound off. So I guess slow and steady is how it is going to be for me. I just want to hit that SECOND sack of potatoes off my body. That is my goal right now...20 pounds down. I still have a LOT of work ahead of me.
Thanks for sticking in there with me!!!

WOO HOO! (no sarcasm) a loss is a loss! slow and steady wins the race. keep at it! you are doing awesome! how was IKEA?
You thank us for sticking in there with you, but we're proud of you for doing this! Just keep up the good work. I know that it's frustrating, but you didn't go up and that's the most important thing! Just remember, no matter what you eat, the weight won't come off until you do cardio. Weights and machines are good, but nothing will melt the pounds like cardio!!! I know it's not fun, but30 minutes a day, 5-6 times a week with your heart pumping and you dripping in sweat = the pounds falling off! :) That's the only thing I'm certain of!!! Try if for just a week and see how you do. Just a thought!
Either way, I'm super proud of you and want you to know that!
XOXO
I say, "Cool Beans"! Instead of "Woo Hoo" - partly because that is what I am eating for lunch lately. :o)
Love you!

Hey a loss is a loss! And as my WW leader always used to say, "Are you doing better than you were before you came to WW? Yes? Well that's what matters." The weight will come off, but I know it is not easy. GL!
You can do it, girl! I wish I could be a better encourager, but slow & steady is how it's going for hubby, too...although he's not exercising and working with a trainer...and he doesn't do weight watchers...and his wife just started full-time work again, so she forgets how to cook...LOL, but I digress...
PS - I would LOVE to be an American Idol correspondent...do you know of any open positions!?? ;)
I got to agree with Christi a loss is a loss. Istart hitting the gym this weekend and amhoping it helps me get over my hump. We will get this second sack off soon!
I think you are doing a terrific job! Slow and steady is the way to do it. I love love the new house!! I can't wait to see photos once you move in :)
I've lost about 35 pounds the slow and steady way ;) since last May and still have about 40 to go.
Slow and steady isn't easy - but you are doing great!! 11 pounds is nothing to sneeze at!
Way to go!
hannah
ps - i found your blog over on t-ttc
Hey, losing .6 is great!! You already know slow is the best way to lose! I lost 55 pounds a few years ago and it took me 9 months to do it. At one point, I tracked my weight across 4 week periods and I was able to see a trend in which weeks I lost more and which I lost less, based on my menstrual cycle (my low loss weeks were actually during week 2 of my cycle). It was really valuable information and helped me better understand my body! You're doing great!!
Slow and Steady IS hard, but it'll pay off in the long run!! Good job!!
